France’s densest rail network

• Northern France boasts 1,512 km of railway lines and 122 freight stations.
• Lille is at the heart of a network of high-speed TGV trains serving Northern France - just one hour from Paris (25 trains daily), 1 hour 20 minutes from London (11 trains daily) and 38 minutes from Brussels (14 trains daily). There is also direct TGV service to Marseilles, Lyon, Nantes, Amsterdam and, soon, Cologne.

Eurotunnel

• Direct high-speed Eurostar service (1 hour 20 minutes from Lille to London) carrying 6.3 million passengers a year.
• Eurotunnel rail shuttles carry trucks and cars between France and the UK in just 35 minutes, with over four departures an hour at peak periods. The service operates 24/24, 365 days a year.
